    The trouble with tribbles is.......
  • Decided I'd finally watch the remake of Evi Dead since I took the plunge and watched the remake of Nightmare on Elm St. a while back.....

Even though my very soul burns with furious anger and hatred at the prospect I'm willing to give it a go...

Nope hokey as f*ck wish I hadn't bothered.....Not going to let this wank splat ruin the originals for me, or even any campy mess involving Bruce Campbell and the license.

I'd like to say it would've been great if the originals never existed but the plot holes started within the first 10-15 minutes, and just got worse and worse, and worse. I'd like to say the make up on the people possessed by the Candarian Demon was great if Dario Argento hadn't have done it 33 years ago.

Absolute shite, a true case of if it's not broken don't fix it, and don't try to remake it either because it's gonna be shite......Did I happen to say it was shite? Because it was complete shite!!!!

  • The next remake features Bruce Willis, he does all of his own stunts, except the one where he trips up on the kerb, they called in a team of experts for that one, it is called Die Hard On...…………………..On Pension Fund Films Ltd

Told Gabi on RDR tha t sketchy movie site I go on, and she was like thanks but it's sketchy.

She said she'd just watched Quadrophenia for the first time, so I told her to watch Mad in Britain, and this is England, but mel had already pointed her in that direction, so I told her to watch Scum....Gonna watch it myself now :))

  • Is that the version that doesn't have the "Carling's Wife" scenes cut out of it?

Not seen it yet, it's supposed to be more violent, and a couple of different actors. Duckgirl mentioned it, couldn't find it on YouTube but Amazon had the double disc DVD for less than a pound lol

  • I got the double DVD version with the 1977 and 1979 versions. The 1977 one was slightly less violent and a few actors in it are different and i think it's more studio bound but it's still pretty grim and brutal. I preferred the 1979 version.
