One of his best. That and Rear Window are my faves.
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

Started watching a film called 'Antichrist' but it was really, really depressing and heavy going. I switched it off after 20 minutes, a load of pretentious tosh!

Is that the one with Ralph Bates in it? If so, it isn't the best one they made.

Watched the Expendables last night...what a bunch of crap. Very disappointing.

Started watching season 1 of True Blood. Once it gets over trying to be a soft-porn movie it's pretty good! The bit where a character drinks the vampire blood to cure a, err, problem, and almost destroys his pride and joy is hilarious - and painful!

City of the Living Dead was on last year and it was uncut. Sounds like they're still showing it uncut. Lovely. IIRC it actually looked a lot better on there than it did on the DVD release!

The Beyond should be uncut aswell. Watch for a spider pulling out someone's eyeball and someone's ear getting bitten off by a dog.

 The film's not that bad! :p

Horror are showing Blood Feast early one morning this week. That's from 1963, but it's a video nasty and it's absolute shit. Ed Wood's films have superior writing and acting in them.

yeah blood feasts herschall gordon lewis, i have a blood feast 2 on dvd that was given away on dvd world mag a while ago (as was house by the cemetary (lucio fulci))
the only herschall film i enjoy really is 2000 maniacs, although he WAS the grand daddy of gore

I got that issue too. Rather anoyingly, I'd just brough Bloodfeast 2 on DVD 10 mins before picking that issue up! I got a refund in the end, but I wasn't too happy at the time (the film's total crap too  )

2000 Maniacs is pretty good and the remake a few years ago is worth watching too, but I'd avoid it's sequel if I were you as it's probably the worst film I've ever seen!

I've just watched Dr Who: Delta and the Bannermen. That was pretty good, but I was sure it was longer than just 3 episodes when it was first show (I only really remembered the Ken Dodd bits anyway!)

Now, I'm working my way through the Alan Partridge box set. I never really understood the character until the series with him living in the travel lodge, so I've never really seen "Knowing Me...", but I'm going to have a watch of that once I've watched the other 2 series again :-)

I finally watched Avatar, nice visuals, some of it looked totally fake though like the humans in the robot walkers they looked as CG as they come.

Not much story, all eye candy, but I'm glad to say I've wasted about 3 hours of my life to get it out of the way so I can forget about it, as lets face it, it's an instantly forgettable movie

Can't have those 3 hours back so I might as well try and be cheerful

I've downloaded the entire Friday the 13th collection. I've just watched part 5 which was fine but more of the usual group of dumb teens being hacked to death by Jason.
I think theres 12 parts to the series (so far).

Watching Airwolf. Series 3, episode 17...

Series 4 I once remember watching on telly years ago in which they bought in a complete different cast - it were pants.

...Must get around to watching the complete series of Buck Rogers soon too. All those lovely ladies in spandex. Mmmm :D
