ESD Assembler

edited September 2008 in Infoseek database
I think that's what it was called anyway.

I was looking at Hamish Rust's softography and it doesn't appear to be listed there. It was available on a YS (or was it SU?) covertape around 91/92. I can't remember which one it was but I will check the tape dungeon later. :)

Necros.

    Was is this one ?:

    http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseek.cgi?regexp=^Spectrum+Assembler$&pub=^Hamish+Rust$&loadpics=1

Hamish's softography is listed in infoseek:
    http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekpub.cgi?regexp=^Hamish+Rust$&loadpics=1

He recently contacted us and granted permission, so I'm not sure if his softography is fully up-to-date yet, but should be soon. He kindly offered to send us some tapes for preservation, so with luck they should be available at the next Vault update.

It's listed as MIA currently but is available in the archive on SU issue 123: Great Eight 12, assuming it's the full version. The MIA status would be cleared if the Assembler was only available on the covertape and not via mail order. I'm sure the info will be come cleared.

Incidentally, the Assembler which might be the same on the Enigma Software Developments label is listed here:
    http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekid.cgi?id=0011491
The advert link which looks like it links to the aforementioned cover tape, also mentions "Spectrum Assembler".

What it could be is that both are the same title but released on the covertape and also an Enigma Tape Magazine.

I'm sure the information will emerge, for instance we only have ETM 8 and 9 listed, so it may be reasonable to assume that 1~7 existed also ?

I'm not sure why ETM9 is listed as STP still ? I was sure I submitted it for the last Vault Update, but perhaps there was a problem and I missed the deadling. I'm gonna check some others that slipped through the net now the other backlog is on WoS :-).

Ah checking the existing TZX, the pauses have been stripped so my new TZX didn't make it.
It's STP by the look of things as there should be an actual ETM9 as opposed to the SU compliment tape. Now I see.
