8 for me. Must be easy.

I got seven out of ten... Didn't have a clue what the first few were!?

I got 10 out of 10 those console questions were too easy lowered the tone, the first few were the hardest I had to really think on a couple of them before I answered.

I got 8. The Luggable threw me because I owned the other one which looks similar but had a great amber screen and a 286 and the mac. I thought it was a version of the G3.

Whoops, 9/10 :o ...Didn't ever 'do' consoles in the 80s, although no excuse really.

    like I said elsewhere,

    I got 6 out of 10

but it was the console questions that were impossible!
things like the PDP were easy :p

7/10. Got the PET, NEO-GEO and MAC questions wrong...

The Mrs had a go and while she got the Neo-Geo and Saturn questions right (she's a gamer grrrl), and another couple of guesses she only got 4 out of 10.

She was embarassed to admit she got the ZX80 one wrong. She said it didn't click until after she clicked ZX81 that we own two of the options and they are both black and the picture isn't. DOH!

I borked on the consoles and the first question.

8/10. All IBM's and Apples look the same to me...
I wanna tell you a story 'bout a woman I know...

9/10. I didn't get the Sega Saturn, but then again hardly anyone else did either back in the day. ;)

8/10. I got the Sega Saturn and the eMac questions wrong, though I did guess on the console one I got right. The questions about the earlier machines were the easiest for me.

10/10. The Neo Geo and Saturn were the toughest for me.

    7/10... I'm an Out Run! :)

Easy although those old PC/Mac questions sounded greek to me! Of course, the ZX-80 question was right!

    8 out of 10.

10/10 - Super Mario! Really easy, but I did guess the last question as I'm not familiar with Mac's.

I remember a friend of mine back in around 1995 insisting that a Saturn was the way to go, as I was making noises about getting a PlayStation just for the F1 game that was coming out. I ended up getting a PS Christmas the following year.

Off Topic: Just noticed something I didn't know before, when I press CTRL+B it gives me the bold tags, same for italic! I suppose it makes sense, since I use those shortcuts all the time in office applications, but I had no idea they worked in Firefox!

It was, I still have a Saturn back at my ma's house in England (at least I may if she hasn't sold it for a bottle of Liebfraumilch :().

That's my second Saturn, the first one died in about 2002, my friend gave me the second one, as he didn't really want it and he got it free from a guy who picked it up for a fiver. He had no games I had 18 and a broken Saturn, he just brought it over one night and said here, you might as well have it, since I know how much you loved your Saturn. Then we went to the bar, got pissed did some Bolivian Marching Powder, then went back to mine smoked weed and played Streetfighter Alpha 2 until about 3am.

    Good times I'm sure :D

EDIT: Oops just thought I'd add that's how I got the Saturn question right, gotta keep it on topic, wouldn't want to make anybody cry ;)

I can honestly say that I've never played on a Saturn in my life, not even an emulator. In fact, I don't even know what the controller for one looks like.

I've seen a Saturn and I liked (back then) what I saw (some sort of a flying game, where the aeroplane was going through hoops I think).

The controller is a$$-backwards  (oh, wait ... never mind ... I was thinking of the Dreamcast )

I agree about the Dreamcast controller. I remember thinking, If this is the future, give me a NES pad any day.

Did the Saturn one look a bit like a chunky Megadrive pad?
  • edited October 2008
I dunno what kind of screwed up DC pad that is but it looks like a 6 button megadrive pad with a VM slot. That actually looks bugger all like a Saturn or a DC pad :D

I got 9 out of 10. All easy apart from the last one. Never even seen an apple mac... Wouldn't know what any of 'em looked like.
