Any one speak German?

edited November 2008 in Chit chat
My Jupiter Ace Archive site needs a little help with a German txt file that needs an English translation.

This is quite important for us to clear up a problem, and I think this file has the answers we are looking for. Can you help?

.. and Yes I have used Babel fish but I need some one who can speak German to do the translation correctly.

If you have the time to help out please PM me.

Many thanks Steve(spt)

Send it to me and I'll get the wife to translate it. (she;s fluent in over a dozen languages)

I'd get Dr Beep to translate, you're on very dodgy ground if you trust a woman...
I wanna tell you a story 'bout a woman I know...

I have read german for five years in school, but that was so long ago that I could never do any correct translations these days unfortunaly.

However XTM of TMG might be a good candidate (if he wants of course). :)

And I can help with misunderstanding it in a few other languages as well.

There must be a slim outside chance that that is the exact phrase Steve is struggling to translate in his Jupiter whatnot.

Yeh half way through the translation three cushions would appear for absolutely no reason. When you question the cushions you are informed you should no why they are part of the translation.

Followed by a heated discussion, an incomplete translation and everyone going to bed with no sex.

And with the instigator sleeping on aforementioned three cushions out in the shed

    I started the translations.
Other advantage for me is that I coded an ACE emulator before, so
I know (a bit) what it does.
