Battlestar Galactica!

I know the re-invented series has been out for a while now, but I've been watching some episodes with my girl tonight and I have to say it is berilliant!!

We are halfway through season2 at the moment. Its a rollercoaster of emotion... in-house fighting..moral dilemmas
assassination plots.. Bloody bloody brill!!!!

Part of me is thinking that the cylons are the pure breed and the humans are the bad guys that need wiping out from time to time, judging by some of their irrational actions.
Was anyone else drawn in by this series?

    I really can't take to the new Battlestar. 8 hours into it, and still the Cylons haven't been introduced. I think that's pretty poor going! Okay, so I hear that series 2 is much better, but I just can't get through the first one. It's just so hard going, dull, uneventful, and so many episodes have blindingly huge plotholes that means person x or planet y could have been easily saved if a simple action was taken. The biggest blunder was the president condemming a girl to death as there was no more room on the escape ships... Erm, what about those empty seats next to you on your ship, madame president?!

    It's not as though I'm a massive fan of the original, but it was so much better. Hopefully Richard Hatch will someday get his sequel series made, as that one looked berwilliant.

    Battlestar should have...

    . Cylons! Yup, big robots, cool voices, three in a ship (ooer!)
    . Imperious leader - must be purple reptile (with or without the BeeGees hair)
    . Basestars that look like wimpys.
    . John Colicos (or voice of)
    . Ovions. One of the best looking aliens from cheap 1970's Scifi. Must have Must have!

    And all in the first 2 hours!


    I think it's fair to say that I've given up on the new BS, whatever may happen in the following series, but I may give Razor a go... Just please tell me that the Cylons are not CG renders, or I will be cwoss!

    i tried very very hard to get into the new BS but they changed too much... and the zooming in and out of the camera all the time really did my head in.

    I like it. It has it's faults and is very serious but I still enjoy it. There's a lot of character work in it which is refreshing.
