peter is colour blind, and has been known to pot a brown instead of a red, and sometimes asks the ref to point out where the brown ball is.

    aaaaaaaaaaaaaah
maybe he shouldve taken up footy then?

but surely the brown would still look slightly different (even if it closely resembles reds) as the other tons of reds??

I had no idea! And he's in the top 16 snooker players.
God knows how, he's soooo slow at playing. Watching him play is enough to induce insomnia.

Back to snooker - Roy put up a good fight, it looked a one point he may have won but the genius Ronnie eventually beat him.

Snooker, one of the three most boring sports in the world along side darts and tennis...

I used to play darts quite a few years ago (mainly in pubs). I got quite good but i've lost the knack now.

    ummm ... Curling? ... Bowls?

(they have to be top five at least)

I personally feel that snooker doesn't count as a sport - It doesn't really fit in with the whole 'Faster Higher Stronger' mentality does it ? - You only have to go back ten years to see it dominated by cigarettes. Poor old Jimmy White would've had bugger all to do in all those tobacco sponsored World Championship Finals if he couldn't chain-smoke.

Seriously tho' there are just loads of sports/games that are great to play but don't make good television unless you already fanatically support one of the players or teams.

I used to compete in Judo competitions and go sailing as a kid - Trust me they are both great sports to take part in...

Well I guess you'll have to trust me - cos you'd never figure that out from watching them on TV.
