This is a name that game with a difference, because I know the name! Does anyone knows the game Stron, whether it is a release or a type-in. It does have some similarities to LightCycle 2, but not quite the same. I had a vague memory of it being a Sinclair Programs game but Type Fantastic says no. It's not listed in infoseek. I've checked the Tron games. It's one player against the enemy ships. If no info turns up I'm going to start thinking one of mates wrote it 'back in the day'.

I believe I typed this in at some point myself. It was a listing in The Best of Sinclair Programs, published sometime in 1983. If memory serves, the author wrote at least 2 other programs for Sinclair Programs, a Sprite Editor printed late in 1984, and a 2-player game entitled The Duel, in 1985.

Hi Jonathan. Great! I think you might be right. "The best of Sinclair Programs" was definitely a magazine I've seen before - and the mag is associated with my pal who I thought had something to do with that program, so he might have typed it in. All I got to do now is find the magazine and the entry.
