The new "Clue"
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7909533.stm
Stephen Fry, Jack Dee and Rob Brydon will share the chairman's seat in the new series of I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue.
Probably an extended audition - the first series of Clue had Humph and Barry Cryer alternating as the chairman.
Recording starts in April, broadcasting in June.

Stephen Fry & Jack Dee I can deal see fitting in with the show
I doubt Brydon will get the eventual job, *but* he was used as a last-minute replacement in the live touring show just before Humph died, so at least should be given a try-out for the proper radio version.
Brydon is too green for my liking. In a perfect world it would go to Fry, but he does so much other stuff as well that he might be too busy to commit. He does acerbic wit much better than Dee - he feels genuinely strongly about so many subjects that when he delivers a throwaway put-down, he's actually pretty believable. With Dee it just feels like an act. OK, so Humph was also putting on a persona, but he did it so well it didn't matter.
Funny enough I was just thinking last week that Arthur Smith may be a reasonable candidate as his descriptoin of Jeremy Clarkson was pure Humph
Just as long as neither of those Mitchell & Webb people don't get near the job.
I do like Rab C, although I do need 888 subtitles occasionally.
I loved Still Game though.
David Mitchell is pretty funny these days, but isn't quite host material yet - another one who seems a tad green.
