I came across this bizarre scene on YouTube... just watch how the skater dies... hilarious!



The film is 'Hard Ticket to Hawaii'... definitely, a cult film :lol:

    Gotta love the way it all makes perfect sense...

    The skater skates past them, gets in the red truck, they drive past them again, then he skates towards them again, this time armed with a shotgun and blow-up doll (?), shoots the tire of the car, the passenger is hit in the chest (even though the skater shot the tire), they then run the skater over and blow him (and the doll) up... then go to drive back into town, with a shot-out tire!!

    Genius!! :grin:

    This isn't fair! This must have cost millions and is directing by numbers!

    I'm trying to get a "Micro Budget" film up and going. Not "Low budget", "Micro Budget" - everyone works for nothing! I've done this before - so I know people are not going to turn up from day to day, or even wearing the same clothes! So I'll be hiring a flat for 5 days and trapping them inside!

    It does involve "guerilla film making" - street shots that there is no way am I going to get permission to do!

    And there is a wardrobe bit involving a vacuum cleaner, a bag of stuff of gentlemen's interest, and a gun!

    I thought this was going to be a thread about funny death scenes from Speccy games (yes, I know this is the Chit Chat section ;-) ) ... I made the mistake of clicking one of the links in this thread and I do have to say that I would not want others (kids, people of frail demeanor) to view it.

    I have not PMed the mods but I hope they will clean up what is inappropriate herein.

    Ahhh ... you edited your post ;-) ... yes, that's the one ... it should have had a NSFW warning ... then I would not have clicked it and I would have just ignored the thread.

    But ... seeing as it DIDN'T have a NSFW tag I feel I have to raise my voice about this.

    It is very easy to see where this thread is potentially headed ... one user has to top the next, etc.

    Not my cup of tea but I would have ignored this thread, now the Soupnazi wells up within me.

    Better have me point this out than a complete stranger spreading wrong rumours about WoS being a haven for ... well ... *this sort of stuff*

    I can see the humour in BTILC ... it used to be one of my fave movies in the 80s ... but there is a difference between "obvious fantasy"* and then real life videos of this sort of stuff.

    *Well, "obvious fantasy" to us at least.

    I was just about to post this video. Looks like you beat me to it ;)

    I can't remember where that fight scene where the guy get lifted up bythe hook is from, but the whole of that sequence is very, very funny :D
