A PC keyboard on a Spectrum ???

Hi.
I'd like to know : is it possible to connect a "modern keyboard" (for example a PC keyboard) to a Spectrum, after modifing its connectors/cables ?
Seriously

I've heard about this somewhere, I know it. It was some specialist site like Sintech, the german spectrum place. I just can't remember where exactly. I wouldn't change it though, the charm of the original is more important than the ease of use of a proper keyboard.

You don't get the same key responsiveness in a 'proper' keyboard as there are restrictions on key combinations that can be simultaneously decoded.

I've checked and there is indeed something at the Sintech website called the "Proface AT". I don't know anyone who's used it, but it may be worth a look.
