PP's 8-bit IDE
So I couldn't get the simple CF working, and after a few re-works I've abandoned it and built a simple 8-bit IDE card instead.
Are there any 48k users out there with experience of this board? The +3 users have a head start I know, but I'll be starting at the shallow end!
I have a CF-IDE adapter and I'll be using this instead of a hard drive. It appears to be working as the access LED flashes at the right time. Highly scientific I know :)
I've tried quite a few cards now with no success. I've followed the instructions for initialising as best I can but I think I'm doing something wrong.
Can anyone provide hints as to how I can initialise a drive?
