Any decent video editors for free?

edited May 2009 in Chit chat
I'm having trouble with my videos going out of sync after uploading them. When they're uploaded they get automatically compressed, and way out of sync sometimes.

I need to re-sync them by being able to set a delay. Trouble is my camera saves in quicktime format and I can't find anything thats free.

I just uploaded a clip of me playing classical guitar in the dark, and its out of sync by about a half to whole second.

I need something thats free.

Edit:
I've found a few but they're too old and don't work on the quicktime files that my camera makes.

VirtualDubMod, Nandub, is good, freeware programs for editing video. Nundub if audio is out of sync. But i don?t know if they can do quicktime. Maybe you could use some other tool first to convert from qicktime to xvid or something?

I think I sussed it. If I export (instead of Save As) from quicktime to a quicktime mov and uncheck internet streaming I get 40% smaller files and in sync mostly.

    Plug.

First time I played for 5 years. I gave up.

Got a gig on the 22nd, will record it and upload bits of it in better quality. Too long to upload the whole gig at 4 hours.
