Plays strangely in comparsion to Blizzards Rift yet, but because it is a early preview, I know that it will be strongly improved later.
As a follow-up to rough justice, will it be sold by cronosoft or a free program?

Ooh, that's kinda sweet! Very unusual, but very playable and looks great. Any chance of making the ship bounce a lil-bit when it hits the boundry walls?

Very much looking forward to the final version.

    Something missing?

All I get is a picture that says FortuneCity.com

EDIT: And now I re-read your message and checked your site. Tried it in Spin but get garbled green attribs and that's it :-(

Tried fiddling around with settings in Spin to no avail ... it's still nothing but green attribs :-(

    (oh, it's a .SNA so speedloading/etc doesn't matter)

Added bombs last night, plus some more screens. Had some more good ideas today, so will be adding those soon. I might give the player a "joker" to play, which will double his points for a short period of time. I haven't uploaded anything new though, it's still the same version. It's strange that people are having a few problems, maybe it's a RapidShare thing.

As for the name, it came up on Call My Bluff several years ago, and has been in the back of my mind ever since. Didn't know it had been used anywhere else.

    HA ha!

    Works now...

Here's what I did different. Yesterday I RIGHT-clicked and saved it that way but today I LEFT-clicked and followed the Rapidshare instructions.

The direct save only gives you a 13k file while the the Rapidshare thing gives you the whole 48k.

How the ** am I supposed to get past the 3rd screen!!! Guns/bombs not installed!!!!!!!!!!! (aaahh, SPACE for the gun) WAIT WHAT NO!!! no guns now ... how the...

    [strike]JONATHAN!!!!!!!!![/strike]

M for fire ... what's for the bombs then?

There's something funky going on when I restart the game after dying for the last time (and start at the beginning again) ... the ships goes off on its own and the keys are wronglywibbly.

Yeah same here, so used to right clicking at Jonathans site i did the same thing but it didnt work.

Sorry for bumping this thread, but I tonight started to play this game deeply and seriously, and what a good game! I went in the mood of this type of control thanks to Homebrew, and gaining some training, I decided to give this one a try, very addictive and playable idea. Now stuck in Stage 2, but for sure I will try more another day, good one here :)

Yes, it's a brilliant game, even by JC's (very high) standards.

One of my favourites. Once you're match fit with the rotate and move controls it's really enjoyable. Think I'll fire this one up again soon.

The demo snapshot in the WOS archive seems to crash ZX Spin and Spec Emu as soon as the menu screen displays, before I waste my time trying to find an emulator that might work with it, is it just a duff snapshot?

It happened to me something similar, long ago:

As I loaded yesterday the original cassette, Im afraid I cant help you with the demo issue, but probably Jonatan will read this ;)

ah, thanks :) It is mentioned in the thread to try Spectaculator, so that is what I have done and it works. Re-saved it as a .sna snapshot and loaded into ZX Spin and all good there now.

I am at the moment hating the last screen from level 4...great game, gets you hooked trying to beat every level. The idea of the passwords is great and necessary as some levels are really naughty!

There's a walkthrough on YouTube which shows how insane the later levels become:

Yep, been playing the last 5th level as finally I was able to complete the f*****g level 4 :D
I really screamed when I finally past it!

So far level 5 is hard, a lot of enemies, but not so complicated as some screens in level 4. I will try to complete the game soon!
