My boss just gave me his old Psion Series 7

...which is in perfect working order and hasn't been used!

Think I'll sign up for Nanowrimo 2009 now and start hanging around Starbucks with it.

:D

Anybody else use anything like this?

My boss gave me an old laptop the other day which was going to be thrown out as no-one wanted to use it as it was too slow. IBM Thinkpad with a 1.6Ghz Celeron, built-in wireless, bluetooth, etc.

One "restore to factory settings" later, remove the superfluous crap and a perfectly serviceable laptop is ready for use. Ideal for internet and Office applications for the average/casual PC user. Going to be in mum's good books when she collects it the weekend :-)

    Does a new netbook count?

Psion S5 over here ... love it! Psion Netbook's next on the list for me (isn't that just S7 anyway?)

I believe the Psion Netbook is the Psion 7 with double RAM (32mb instead of 16mb) and one or two other small differences.

It runs Windows rather than EPOC32. Nice machines. I had the original 5 series. Poor build quality on that one, but I got a lot of use out of it.
