I just got let loose on one of these this evening. Had to sign a ?1k excess disclaimer, but got it back safe and sound. :D

1,300cc, 165BHP, shaft driven with traction control and an on board computer with lots of useless information, from tyre pressure, to fuel range. Gets to naughty speeds with effortless grace,( allegedly ). :D

but with a circa ?12k price tag for the bog standard model, with no extras, I won't be trading up anytime soon...

    Now, that's a beauty!

    How fast did you get?

Had a play on both that, and the K1300R, when they launched over here... quick is not the word! Having converted to the sublime beauty of beamers last year I think it's only a matter of time before I sign-up for one of these...

Man that is beautiful, its just the sort of design i like, not flash and look at me like so many of the japanese sports bikes, i am going to have to start taking bike lessons, i did cbt months ago and couldn't get any riding lessons booked because they were full with people trying to pass before the new rules came in :(

    Nice bike.

I got a cousin who is into bikes, he once took me arround the Oxford Ring Road doing over 100mph. I had his old helmet which had a very rattley visor. I've never been so scared in all my life.

I tell you the police would have had no trouble finding us, we were the one with the brown smoke trail.

I don't think motor bikes are for me.

...Hmmm I wonder has anyone ever tried to build a motor unicycle?? :D

Now thats more like it!! "Who's stolen half me bike??" Almost a worthy image for the caption compo.

yeah, AWOL and old bikers magazine, which came from and went back into ( I think) Back Street Heroes, used to have a uni bike at festivals, it had skis to help stabilize it, and they held contests to ride it around the longest without crashing.

Or if you prefer the more classic era or motorcycling try this.

I know it's not a GS that you rode, but if you're ever tempted to get a GS watch this first :-)
