(p.s. does any one knows what's the deal with action FARCE II? is there an Action FARCE I? and is it any good?)
Action Farce 2 was a Crash covertape reader game. It was more of an arcade adventure flick screen affair than a shooter like the 'real' action force 2 game.
I don't believe there was a first game - think the name was more of a mick take. I could be horribly wrong though ...

There was a game released for sale Called Mission Venom (maybe a MASK inspired name?) that was practically the same as it. After this came up last time I did some digging around as the mission venom screenshots looked strangely familiar? So I loaded up Action Farce II, and it also seemed familiar.
I realised both of these games had been made with CRL's 2D Game Maker, I already sent a note for the infoseek about this a while back. Mission Venom is MIA, but it was so blatantly obvious I didn't even need to play it to check :D
Managed to go 20 levels...then I got bored and realised that "well this probably does not end..."
I had never passed the Tank on level 3 so that was a cool thing...
on the other hand it's sort of frustrating not having diferent bosses or an end...
and after 20 years I still think Quick Kick is an useless arse on this game... for a martial artist specialist, he could at least to something else than just climb...
I guess Action Force II goes to the list of games that I like, but could use some diferent things (some sub-levels, differente bosses and of course, an ending!)
how about Action Force I? does it have an ending? and should I even bother about it?

There is actualy no ending too. But the game has 8 different levels, so you can say yep, I finished this game :). Action Force I isn't so famous like AFII and the controls of your 'vehicle' isn't easy, but there is possible to play it (rzx also has been sent to Daren today).

Btw Pavero ... nice map, maybe you should have included the cool "rainbow colour" screen from the game in your map.
