It was great to see Marcus and Freddie pissing themselves with Siavash outside when Isac arrived! (at least it made Marcus and Siavash bond again:smile: )
Yeah, I was glad to see Marcus and Freddie renewing their friendship in the garden when Isaac entered the house. The jury's still out on Isaac - have to see how he gets on over the next few days. Noirin's a cert to get booted out tonight - she's something like 1/8 with the bookies to get kicked out.
Plus her face was like thunder when Marcus exchanged his token for fish and chips for everyone in the house. Funny.
As for everyone that's doesn't like Big brother and is constantly slagging it off - why on earth would it be on TV for ten years if nobody was watching it and everybody thought it was crap? Clearly everybody has different opinions about the show, but equally clearly, LOTS of people like it and watch it.

Because TV itself is crap, and has been for about 10 years, BB is a work around, during the summer the Channel 4 execs all sit around scratching themselves and eating Greggs pasties cos' they don't have to do any work for 3 months while BB is clogging up the telly.
Clearly everybody has different opinions about the show (very different opinions), but equally clearly, LOTS of people like chavs, charvas, trevs, and Neds like it and watch it. Just proves how sad the majority of the British public actually are.

Ah, this is the bit where I jump up and make a big deal of my speccy credentials, about how I used to buy Your Sinclair, Crash and Sinclair User in my younger years and my fond memories of the Speccy +2A my mom and dad bought me for chrimbo one year.

Most people posting here talk in the other forums too (which you do). It's the ones that deliberately post bad language and inane crap with seemingly no interest in what WoS is here for that are starting to bug me!

Well I hope I have not offended you, I certainly do not offer bad language too often, and I supposed that the chit-chat section could offer a little more diversity than a very narrow bandwidth that would be supposed. I just think that variety is the spice of life and I am interested in a wealth of different stuff. I did not realise that BB was no-go on here.

I have to respond to other peoples feelings though, and when I get PM's complaining about a thread, or someone uses the report post function, then the moderators should act. Sometimes it results in a locked thread, sometimes its a banned user. Sometimes its me moaning in the thread :)

Cool:cool: I just sensed that I was being pushed out there tbh (which I did not like). I Know loads of peeps HATE BB with a passion. I can fully understand this.(Honestly, I was very adversed to it GRRRRR!) I just latched onto this season, and as this is my MAIN chatsite, I took the oportunity to stick my oar in, in the designated forum. I ask permission to go on about it a bit in future and hope it will not totally wreck people's heads:smile:
Now that Isaac's gone racing after Noirin (and potential magazine deals as the latest Big Bro couple...) like a panting lap dog, all of the potential drama seems to have left the house. Without an antagonist to face off against, Marcus and Siavash will be left with nothing to do! All of the drama has left the house with the not-so-golden couple! :(

When the report came in, I took a look at the thread to see if there was anything particularly offensive (other than a crap TV show) and didn't spot anything untoward... I guess my criteria are different than those of other people, but basically I go with the "if it's something that (a) typically would have a 'you need to be 18 to enter this site' warning on it, (b) is maliciously directed rudeness at another forum member, or (c) it's otherwise out of societal norms (for any given value of societal norms) then I'll do something about it."
All very subjective of course, but then moderation always is.
I'm gonna be really upset if this turns out to be the last Big Brother, I always admit to anyone, even though is "sounds" sad (for 'tis surely not) that it's me fave time of the year :-P
Oh, and BigBadMick has 112 posts that are in the Games, Miscellaneous, and Development forums, take away Chit Chat and he'd be a fair way up the top posters ;)

Find it really intersting watching the different characters, and seeing how they cope and react to different stimuli or lack of, i don't really see how anyone that likes people (especially characters) an finds it interesting to try and understand them cannot like Big Brother, I know that it's different with reality progs you don't watch and then see a bit of, you don't 'know' the people and therefore it's just like watching some rendom crap... but when you watch a certain one and are learning day by day how to percieve the different people then it really is a rather pleasurable hour a day to spend in different company :)
