Cannot remember name of game?
I used to play it when I was a kid, I have found all the other games that I used to like.
It is a shooting game, like Arcadia or something like that, alright it has one thing that separates it from other zx games, and that is realistic explosions.
I just remember the explosions had a lot of detail....
Any ideas?

Was it a single screen, or did it scroll?
Shoot-em-ups
Now if you could narrow it down a bit. Like an approximate year or any other details.

Arcadia:
One game at similar age and that had quite nice explosions (when your own ship exploded) was Galaxians.
The fact that it's like Arcadia sort of narrows it down to between 82-84 I suppose (not-really-ish.) But then again, a few latter cover tapes featured homebroo games fitting the description.
If it is Galaxians, then you've certainly earned your Rolos!
My guess: http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekid.cgi?id=0004821
STAR FIREBIRDS, just slipping in at 1985ish
EDIT: Star Raiders II had some pretty impressive explosions, but it's nothing like Arcadia, so I doubt it's the game you're looking for...

Or maybe Ad Astra?

. Though I have found another game I used to like when I was young called Beach Head.
.
The moons you have to dodge are drawn VERY nicely though. Very convincing there.
And yeah Beach Head is another goodie well worth a play even today.
. The explosion of your vessel, it is much more realistic. I agree. thanks.
.
This explosion does look good on FUSE On Ubuntu 9.04 - the Jaunty Jackalope - released in April 2009.
