I don't get it ... or rather, perhaps I do ...

so the guy is eating licorice/candy and drinking ... is that really the only pun there ... i.e.
one is supposed to think he's about to commit suicide but instead is just eating candy
?
Is that all there is to this particular skit?

Was not funny!
Although it was Chris Morris so that doesn't surprise me considering everything he does has a 1 in 10 chance of a flukey giggle.
The postman scene from Big Train was funny once, but I imagine I wouldn't find it amusing now.
He's like the white Lenny Henry of Channel 4.
