All hail the ZX81
Just wondering... does anyone out there in Spectrumville still have a ZX81?
Also, what's the best ZX81 emulator? I had Xtender until the time limit on it ran out, I'm using Paul Robson's ZX81 emulator, which seems to do the job. Is there one better?
Also, if anyone has Super Glooper (probably GLOOPER.P, I'd imagine) I'd be eternally grateful for it to relive the days before my then-three-year-old brother ripped the 16K RAM pack off the back of my ZX81 and I was stuck with a 1K machine for two years...

I did have a TIMEX Sinclair 1000 but I sold it.
Later in the year I hope to buy a working one on eBay, but I keep getting outbid. :)
I recon no$zx81 is the best zx81 emu out there. Its easy to use, has tons of features ans seems to be very compatible, allthough it doesnt seem to be as well known as some of the others. you can get it here http://www.work.de/nocash/zx8.htm.
BTW THX, how much did you get for your ts1000 on ebay? I think I might sell mine if Im liable to get a decent price (more than the 6 quid I paid for it)
404, unfortunately... and zx81.htm doesn't work either.
Plus: any good ZX80 emulators? Again, I've got Paul Robson's emulator. Also, is there such a thing as a stash of .O files for it?
I sold the TIMEX as untested (it was from the USA) boxed with instructions I got around ?30 I think.
It wasn't, it was Glooper, which I assume was the prequel...
ZX81EMUL for the Spectrum!!!!
It runs a 16K ZX81 in a 48K Spectrum.
It runs quite fast for an emulator written
on a processor which isn't even twice as fast
(about 35%)
It can load from TAPE and DISK
It is compatible with SAM81, the ZX81 Emulator for the Sam Coupe.
Oh, did I mention that I wrote it ;)
