One could argue that Millipede is itself a clone of Centipede, which would effectively make them clones of a clone, and that makes them second generation Centipede clones. :-)

Mushroom Alley is listed as a Centipede clone at Wikipedia

Fair enough, Millipede is only a small upgrade from Centipede.
Wikipedia is wrong about Mushroom Alley, as far as I know.
