Hello all, just to say that my baby girl, our first child, was born on Wednesday morning, and she's an absolute diamond. Mother and baby are both doing well.
Many congratulations Matt!! Hopefully 'Lazy Town' will be off the air by the time she begins to toddle and watch TV. It will spare you great pain lol! Balamory is one to look forward to though!

The other day I found myself singing the bloody "Chuggington" theme tune to myself! Aaaargghhh! My four year old daughter likes watching it.
Thanks to everyone for all the well wishes. As far as smelly nappies and late night feeds go, I don't mind changing the nappies but all I can do is provide moral support for the feeds. The last few days have been the best of my life.

Congratulations... I'm glad you decided to bow out of the breast-feeding... Not a pretty picture.

Congratulations! Welcome to a new life! It is in some ways quite different, but totaly awarding.
I was up this morning from 4 AM to almost 6 carrying my 11 months daughter and I was not too happy of course, but when we both woke up again at seven and I saw her smile then everything is forgiven. ;)
And also remember, it will be nice and fun from now on, but it will also get better for each month as she will grow and learn.
Yeah, nights are almost sleepless but while I'm off work I can just about handle that. The sad thing is I will have to go back to work a week tomorrow and I know I won't want to. The first five days of being a dad have been amazing and totally rewarding, and I can't wait to see her grow and learn.

With that in mind you should call her Gemma,
Your old life is now over and will never be the same again and you'll love every minute of it....
Remember, you have to get her into Speccys as soon as possible..
But beware of the late night feeds and nappy changes!
Congratulations... I'm glad you decided to bow out of the breast-feeding... Not a pretty picture.

Don't be daft Mr. Zero ... a little baby isn't going to fit into Spectrums ... ;-) :-P
Yay! Congrats!
Are you ready for not sleeping a wink?
Smaller hands make them better at fixing em tho :p
You will love every minute of it.
