At least in the Basque Country :-)

From 15:57 onwards (it's in English, don't worry, I don't speak Euskera either). This was recorded at this year's Euskal Encounter in Bilbao.

Kudos to you I noticed you managed to talk about Spectranet with no noticable "um's", and I predict my hair will look just like yours within' the next 5 years, although I'm probably not as smart as you are.

    ....and I can't fly a plane ;)

Looks like she took her style tips from Lilly Alen.

Oddly enough, although I'm a bit socially awkward, I can manage public speaking OK (I'm usually terrified before hand especially if I can see a big audience in front of me, but as soon as I get going it's fine and usually I can enjoy doing it!) (Actually, there were a few 'ums' but I was ambushed by the camera crew, so I didn't have anything exactly prepared :-))

My hair's been like that forever, it just used to not be noticeable because I didn't have it cut so short, but then it was just untidy.

Great interview. Well done! Would like to now see Spectranet in action with how it's used and what you can actually do with it. Great stuff :)

I intend to make my own vid of that, well, I've been saying that for the last 8 weeks but perhaps this weekend I might get around to it! (My excuse: too busy writing code. Reality: too busy ...ahem...testing snapshots over the network by playing my favorite games)

You did well in that video. I may be wanting one of them spectra nets too.

When will they be publically available?

Yep, that was an excellent presentation. You differentiated well for a mass audience to understand (even me!!) and came across as being very socially accomplished! Yer gonna have to take over where Fred (chocablock chap- I forget his surname) left off with the Micro live programme

haha.. thats the thing, any woman wearing a 50's or whatever dress, people will say Lilly Alen..hhmmm

like her music , it's all highly borrowed / copied.. as much I find her dad funny, I find her crud.. esp when she covered and destroyed mr blue sky :(... oh and smile is a rip off of a karen kay song. (JK's mum) . got famous via myspace?!?! suurre it was highly engineered by her record label.

as for going bald , I'm, mid 30's and I'm applying for the tefal adverts VERY soon..hehe.. it happened , big deal , but I have noticed it seems to be an issue for people who have loads of hair for some reason.hehe

but back on subject, it's more the content of what people have to say.. and yer it was to the point and didn't seem rehersed. etc. I couldn't give a fig what they looked like , Fred Dibnah was one, my friend said he looked like typical northerner stereotype, but I said.. nah thats just coz your local..

the person you were thinking of was Fred Harris ??

wonder if Brian Cant changed his surname :)

It's not just the dress, its also the hair and make up. FWIF, I do find Lilly attactive, but looks is where it ends. I ceartainly would not like to date her; she far to highly strung for me, which in my book cancels out any beauty and style she may have.

The thing is, if her songs are anything to go by (and I do like the songs in a "casual" sort of way - I wouldn't buy one of her records, but I don't mind hearing them on the radio, but I won't miss them when they are long forgotten, if you see what I mean) - if her songs are anything to go by she is incredibly shallow (and what she's said in the press seem to also bear this out). And she can't really sing all that well live - she was on Jonathon Woss a while ago and I remained unimpressed by her live voice compared to recordings.

Of course, she may not be shallow at all, after all I don't know her, but she just *seems* that way, however pretty she may be.

That's the one! I kept thinking 'Fred West'
    and rejecting it.

Nice one Winston...I can now say that I have met a genuine TV star! You couldn't see your way to lending me a fiver could you - what with your new found fame and money......oh, I've said too much...

Any chance of getting that tasty (much fitter than Lily "Frankenstein's Monster" Allen will ever be) sort from the start of the vid to come to the Sheffield gig d'yer reckon?

No, no, no...go and wash your eyeballs out man!

The only good use for Lily Allen is knocking in nails with her huge fecking forehead.

Winston, one day I would like to make a MMORPG with this :) As I understand, there is no problem to send data to host and get it from there?
