doubtless in 10 - 15 years time as these collectable parts become more and more sought after, prices will have increased 10 fold.

    doubtless indeed, :D

And they are charging ?5 for postage. You would think at that price they'd include postage

Do people never look what everyone else is charging first, or are they just blinded by the pound signs spinning round in their eyes like a fruit machine reel.

You can pick these up for ?130 each as NOS.

In the mid 90's I threw a load out. The company I was working for had an very large electronic microfilm filing system made by Kodak. The insides of this device consisted of boards that looked pretty much like of ISA PC cards from the <= 486 days, that all clipped into a central motherboard. On several of these cards were intel C4004s as well as a load of other ICs. I'm guessing when this machine was produced it cost shit loads. Part by part the machine was fed into a compactor and the rest got collected by BIFFA.

Just think if I'd of kept em eh? I'd have about ?500 quid at best.

this is the thing that always gets me, some people blatantly take the **** with how much things cost to post and obviously it makes the sale price look more attractive.
