Either somebody is taking the pee or is this "1003" a genuinely rare model?

Hmmm. The seller has sold three things in 12 months, I think he just got bored and bid on his own lot from another account, or someone is trying to piss him off. Ebay eh? once great now a bit lame.

Item location is Manchester...the seller is probably skunked off his t*ts!

At first glance I wasn't sure what you meant, I'm usually thick this early in the morning/afternoon, so I dismissed it (I wasn't sure what "SONY PSP 1003" meant ... well ... the "1003" bit)

Then I re-visited the listing and saw the price ... :-o

The winning bidder only registered within the last 24 hours. Very odd behaviour. It has to be the seller trying to raise the price, which is (or at least should be) a breach of eBay's terms and conditions.

The winning bidder can only raise the price if the 2nd bidder had put in a silly bid in the first place. I've heard of friends making bids higher but does that mean a 'legit' buyer bid over 1000 anyway ?

Just dont see the big fuss with this, didnt think they were r@re or anything

Well if you look at the bid history for this auction you will see that bidder 2 is no longer registered with Ebay. Still looking at the bid history its an odd unnatural pattern involving three distinct bidders.
