It may be a new series, but gameface has been on for quite a while now and it is pretty good, very current unlike some, there is also another one which is on straight after, or before it, but I can`t remember the name, I think it is called Ginx files, that is also very current.
Every time I read that the oldest person in the world has died, I have to do a quick check to see it isn't ME..........
I suppose we have to class ourselves as lucky that there are any computer shows at all, although I should think that the games firms themselves contribute to the production costs, as after all they are all just glorified advertising for the games............

ah, I'm sooo out of touch, cos I only just got Sky.
Have fun with UK Gold, or as it should be known, The Only Fools and Horses channel. Del and Rodney should be millionaires by now, given all of the royalties UK Gold must pay them for the endless repeats. Yes, it's a great program, but it doesn't have to be shown *constantly*.
Incidentally, I've heard that the BBC part own UK Gold, yet UK Gold still have paid adverts, despite the BBC not supposed to be connected to anything with advertising (which is why they are allowed to get the immoral TV License, which wouldn't be tolerated in any decent company). Still, it wouldn't be England without the corruption, would it?

I thought that there was a "commercial" unit within the BBC which has completely different rules. These are the ones that sell all the programs abroad and do the things like DVD releases.
Also watch BBC for any length of time and you start to realise how many adverts the main channels carry all the time. From what i've noticed there are two main types of these, adverts for there own programs / products and almost without exception any guest on a talk show is only there because they want to push there new Film / Book / DVD / whatever.
Although they would deny it there also seems to be quite a lot of product placement but to be fair a lot of that will be in imported (read American) programs.
I have just seen the trailer for Game face and it does say that it is a new show on Bravo, perhaps it was on a different channel before and has moved to Bravo.........

No, it's always been shown on Bravo. Just seems they are doing an ad campaign to draw attention to it. A bit misleading to call it "new" when it's been on for a few months.
