Snowed here a week or so back about 6 inches, and it stayed until almost the end of last week and it snowed again on Monday and yesterday about 6 inches, and there's more coming apparently.
REPORT!

Mostly dry, but continuing cold.
Perhaps the odd isolated snow shower still in the late evening, otherwise dry, clear and cold with light winds. A widespread frost developing across the region. Minimum temperature -5 deg C (23 deg F).
Cheshire NW Weather Centre closing down and going to bed to wrap itself up in blankets and duvets.
I wonder if Frobush managed to get his heating fixed? Dosen't sound like it!
Yeah, all fixed. But this is a cold house - even with the central heating on full blast. And the ghost doesn't help.
It's great in the *summer though! Cool!
*semi-mythical period of time lasting about 2 days each year. During this time the ambient outside temperature can rise by a worrying 1 or 2 degrees C, requiring young ladies to remove their jumpers and torment men.

Not even with the housework ? Lazy ghost, what sort is it ? Probably too much Atik Atak..............Perhaps you could set one of those man-trap devices, then when you catch it, you could bash it with a baseball bat. I was given that advice by Fog..................
Every time I read that the oldest person in the world has died, I have to do a quick check to see it isn't ME..........
Posh git, with more than one duvet, I bet you don`t sleep in a wooly hat like I do, well actually I sleep in a bed, in the garden...................
On my bed I have 2 duvets, a thermal blanket, all the clothes that are knocking about, and an old pair of curtains that I found up in the loft. Once I'm inserted (go on - do a school playground joke here) I find it quite warm, but it is a struggle to turn over or just move around in general. What I need is the hug of a good woman.
The ghost is of an elderly woman (apparently - or should that be 'apparitionally'! Ha, ha, ha! I am so clever!), though I have never actually seen her. She doesn't bother me much - except that she draws loads of heat from the atmosphere and has a habit of hiding my 'things' when I'm not looking.

Sounds like my house, apart from the ghost. Although there has been a few wierd things hapenning recently.
I took a frozen shepherds pie out of the freezer, i left it on the worktop in the kitchen. I went to the toilet and when i came back it had somehow turned upside down! I hadn't touched it. Wierd.

Once, there was a box of frozen "Farmfoods" choc-ices in the freezer. I don't much care for chocolate and I really can't remember the last time I ate ice-cream. And there isn't a "Farmfoods" store in the town.
Work that one out.
(Maybe someone from far-a-field broke into the house and felt sorry for me and left me a gift instead of robbing me blind)

That was me! I decided to rob your house but i couldn't find anything worth nicking so i felt sorry for you and left some ice cream in your freezer!
Well, it will get hot here eventually. About a month ago we had temps in the high 70's. Then winter came back again. The weather is always really weird here. It can change from winter to summer within a week. The summers are hot and dry, usually in the 90's.

Had the same "issue" here. March was unusually warm (60-70s + no snow for the first time in like 90 years) then April was windy, wet, dreary and cold.
Summers here are about 80-90s and usually terribly humid.

Sometimes I feel like it would be nice to have some humidity here. The summers are very dry. You can almost feel the moisture being sucked from your body. I tend to get dehydrated here very easily.

And I get dehydrated here because I sweat out all the moisture in my body. I've learned to drink a lot of water ... I'm practically a camel, albeit without the hump(s) and ability to carry my own weight several times.

It's now all frozen up (the road is especially nasty as the melted hail has iced up)

Almost all stereotypes are true, we are just not allowed to say so in public :D

I'm not looking most of the time.
It did, for an hour or so it was quite heavy, but none of it settled really (at least not down here anyway).
