Windows DVD Maker problems

edited December 2009 in Chit chat
Wonder if anyone can help.

Whilst trying to convert some films on my HDD to DVD via Windows DVD Maker, the graphics are extremely blocky and blurry. The graphics are fine when viewed on VLC or Media Player.

Tried coverting MPG and AVI types of film, with the same problem.

Does anyone know what the potential problem may be?

use a real dvd authoring program not a windows one pretending to do it correctly

you need a lot of processing power converting video
