Looks quite shite, but that's what we have to expect from most 1982 games. Oh, and looks familiar too. Think I may have tried it out sometime in the 80s (found amongst hundreds of games on your typical borrowed C60s/C90s) but I doubt I played it for long. Just like DM, won't even bother to download it now.
uhhh wtf are you supposed to do, I see the pretty monkey, I like his dance and the monkey music. then he stands there and looks at me, I dont get to do anything - am I supposed to hit the monitor to make the monkey dance again?.
I wouldnt even give my first rolo to see a RZX of this masterpiece.
I wanna play this game just to see how bad it is. I don't know if I'm being thick or wot but I can't even get it to load... I put him into CAPS LOCK, loaded a bit more, Kong does his little song and dance, loaded a bit more, then seems to crash

Do all of the above, then try pressing R when it looks as if it's crashed. I worked it out by a process of elimination after mashing the keyboard a few times.

Ahh.. obvious isn't it  I played it for about ten seconds, just to satisfy my curiosity - that was quite enough, thank you.. Big respect (both for their game playing skills and their tolerance of awfulness) to anyone who completed the first screen! And I thought Ocean's Kong, which I had as a nipper, was lame!
Compiled BASIC eh? Didn't realise they had BASIC compilers way back in '82.

I managed to get to the top of the second screen but then it just sent me back to the start of screen 1.
According to the claims there's supposed to be a 3rd screen but having read what's written I can't conclude whether there is or not.
Does anyone know if there's a 3rd screen or not?
I can quite understand if nobody could be bothered to find out though :???:

SECOND SCREEN:-o
You are the first person I've ever known to get past the first.... nice work! Even Spinnyf*** hasn't managed to get to the second....
I don't think it matters tbh
True enough! I managed to figure out how to start the game and jump left and right. Never managed to climb a ladder though!
Z - Left
C - Right
A - Jump left
D - Jump right
S - Climb ladder
The easiest way is to use the jump left & right, just using Z & C for fine positioning under ladders.
Just for an incentive as you probably need one, screen 2 is much easier than screen 1...
