Geryon (For Richard "The Adventurer")

edited August 2003 in Games
Ok Richard, I've followed your istructions
(I had tried "Throw sheet AT Cliff, I'm Italian after all...;))
but now?
I've typed: "Climb Geryon" and this was OK but in the Divina Commedia Virgil also climbs Geryon!
Therefore I've then tried: "Virgil climb Geryon" but with no success.
Maybe I have to use the rope?

Thanks again
Fulk

Right. You have to tie up Virgil with the rope, and then threaten him with bodily harm. He will then climb Geryon.

    j/k :)

Thanks...but the verb "tie" is not known by the parser ;)

Ah! Bugger it then. I'm sure Richard will be soon with us as soon as he finishes his transcendental meditation. I, for one, would liek to know wot Virgil does after he climbs that thingamob.

more seriously (and at the risk of making myself look a complete fool), how bout these polite commands to Virgil:
    1) Ask virgil to climb Geryon (or wotever)
    2) virgil, climb Geryon
    3) Kick virgil up Geryon

    so...let's wait for Richard opinion...

...and for you that appreciate mentioning PF...paraphrasing them..
You say the (hill)cliff?s too steep to climb....;)

By the hoary hosts of Hoggath who dare disturbs my peace now??

One more question will I answer now boyo and no more.

It is written on this here parchment, I mean magazine, that you need to tiey Virgil with thee rope and threathen him most bodily before he does mount the beast.

Now beaway with thee and darken me door no more.

    Richard

or you could ignore Virgil for now and just type 'Geryon go down' to progress, that might work.
