Crash & YS e-mag advice wanted.

Having bought both RG emags recently I thought I'd try and track
down my favourite (back in the day) Spectrum magazines in a disc format.

I have seen a few Crash mag DVDs on ebay but any advice on which
are recommended viewing quality & of quantity / content.

Any help with a Your Sinclair (or Spectrum) DVD also would be great,
the YS one I did see didn't mention anything about inclusive
covertape files.

A good site for old computer magazine CDs/DVDs is The Def Guide to Zzap!64 (check the Zzuperstore page). I've bought several from there. Crash is available, among many others, but Future Publishing have prohibited distribution of the Your Sinclair DVD, so I'd suspect that the YS DVDs in circulation might just have been pinched off WoS.

Just checking, but you are aware they are all in the archive here?

    Yep get them from http://www.zzap64.co.uk/zzuperstore.html

Mort spent a ton of time (and scanners !) doing all of those. The scans are superb. Theyre all individual JPG's so you just double click on an image and view it on your machine (Eg using the default windows viewer) or use another program.

Theyre great to look at and bring back a ton of memories. Theyre not 100% 'official' so wont be like the RG disc but they really are great to read and look at. Top marks to Mort for helping to preserve all of these

As great as the online editions of these mags are I have limited internet
time so I just want something I can throw into a laptop at leisure.

I'll check out the archive for those YS covers.

Thanks for the help peeps & info on Mort's site, I don't think I ever read
any issues of SU so I'll pick that one up too.

Couldn't agree with you more. I have thanked Mort on here before for the time and effort he put into his discs. I have the Crash, SU and YS ones and they are all fantastic.
