I did enjoy this the few times I played it when it was new, probably because it was a little bit different, although I was never very good at it.

I think this might be a cheeky request for an .rzx as there is not one. :oops: :oops: :oops:

I spent ages trying to play this game, but not getting very far at all....

There were quite a few games like that for me though...seemed really good but I had no idea how to get anywhere...

Captain Pytron was another one that springs instantly to mind....

Yes, I just had a look through the list of Spectrum games which I bought back in the 1980s - about 150 of them, including Worse Things Happen At Sea, which I'd been really looking forward to playing - and about 90% of them I couldn't play for toffee and never got anywhere near finishing them no matter how much I persevered. Given how many I bought it appears that I never learned that I was rubbish at playing arcade games.

Bosconian and Star Farce are a couple of shoot-'em-ups I recall getting reasonably proficient at, and I finished Atic Atac and Heartland and a few others, but there were loads of games which I thought were really good but which I could never master. I was better with strategy and adventure games, where there's more time to think. Worse Things Happen At Sea was particularly stressful.
