Weekend at Bernies

Remember that film in the early 90's ?

Looks like someone tried to do something similar...

I mean its obviously sad this person dying but how crazy are these people to think they could check him in and then try to take him on board. Ridiculous

I know in hospitals if someone dies in a clinic or xray or similar, they stick an oxy mask on them and send them back to the ward.

    But this is stoopid.

It's grotesque. What were they thinking. *sigh*

I was just reading about that....and was going to post a thread with exactly the same title!

I can see them now..."Why don't we just pretend he didn't die? Just for a bit!".....

I 'presume' they were in a state of shock if it was a relative and werent thinking straight, but still, talk about crazy.

But how on earth did they think they would get away with it, these people have flown before, people check passports etc, cabin crew would think is weird if the guy wasnt awake at all.

    Bizarre

when he was on the plane they could have put a sun hat over his eyes and said 'don't wake him, he's dead tired'

    just like in commando.

joking aside.. a friend sent his mum back to be buried in Ireland... cost a total of ?9000 to transport her.. vs ryan air = ?20-30.. well ya would be tempted like :)

I can't see how they justify that amount of money.

What I think's brilliant is how it says they took him to the airport in a taxi! How many towns other than Liverpool could you get a taxi to take a dead body to the airport and not raise suspicions?

Still sounds bizarre. It also shows my childishness that i read that story and kept sniggering when she mentioned she loved her willy etc. I know i know its stupid

    Well, perhaps there's a rebate if you're dead. :p
