Just been reading up on this total nutter !

Saw a few interviews on youtube (even one on an early Jerry Springer), guys a total nutcase ! He was a punk rock singer who did anything he wanted, often 'deficated' on people at his gigs, beating up people in the audience, singing naked etc. His comments on the Springer show were so ott (its okay to get a girl from the audience and rape her) etc, just seems like one of the first 'shock' musicians, Marilyn Manson is nothing compared to him !
Downloaded a documentary about him (GG Allin and the murder junkies), should be interesting viewing !
Seems a very interesting character to say the least, he died from an overdose in 1993. I dont think Mary Whitehouse would be a fan to say the least.

VERY DODGY, cant say i believe everything hes done is acceptable , BUT i respect him in the way that he did what the fuck he wanted when he wanted and nobody could tell him no, he'd just do it

I do hope that some of what you hear about him (animals/paedophillia) obviously isnt true, presume thats more just stuff said about him to shock people.
The Jerry Springer interview was funny, that 17 year old on it apparently later became his wife.
Been watching excerpts from that film 'hated', bloke really really is a nutter.
I spot someone whos parents didnt give him enough hugs when he was younger ;)

All that stuff above is in that film i started watching. Hes one odd odd character but very interesting.
Actually, come to think of it, there's also the GG Allin Jerry Springer special over at YouTube too. That's a fairly interesting watch.
Yeah watched that yesterday. Mentioned it before, that young girl later became his wife.
I'm all up for a bit of anarchy but all that crap about 'a girl should get raped as it'll prepare her for it next time...' is just crap which hes obviously just saying to look super controversial.

Aye, I thought the bloke was a complete c*ck, to be quite honest. Not overly keen on his music either, there were far better punk bands around at the time... he only become known because of his attitude/stage antics.
I'm not a fan of his music at all, and i kinda feel sorry for him as its a bit embarassing his stage antics (to say the least) and the crap (probably not the best word to use) he says just to get attention, just wants to shock as much as possible.
But came across him on the NME '25 most crazy people in rock' type of thing they have on the website which i found interesting (Still dispute Will Young at #4 on the list).
Do like watching documentaries on these 'characters' though, very bizarre. Dont think its my mums cup of tea so i wont lend her the dvd
Yep, I feel embarrassed for him too... I mean, why would you want to get naked on stage when you have a penis the size of a very small acorn? Maybe it was just really cold at that gig... :grin:
But yeah, I like watching documentaries on these kinds of people too... it really does make for interesting viewing. :smile:
Ha i wasnt going to mention that but yep ! I dont normally look at blokes 'bits' but boy, i feel like John Holmes after watching that. His was so tiny i can kinda understand why hes so angry.
