Trying to remember a cartoon

A quaint little Saturday morning cartoon, which featured a duck who always seemed to end up covered in whitewash, and needed hosing down in the garden at the end of each episode. I'm sure in one episode he was in a sweetshop, buying sweets from jars and still ended up covered in whitewash, in need of a hosing.

Any thoughts?
