Rest in Peace, Jonathan Smith (was: Frobush Absence)

You may or may not have noticed the absence of the honourable Frobush aka Jofa Smifff from your forums... The explanation is a little sad but does have a happy ending (fingers crossed)

Jof was taken into intensive care suffering from a very serious condition about 2 weeks ago, he does appear to be on the mend however and is now on a general ward 3D in Whiston Hospital - Cheshire. I visited him on Friday and although he's a little bedraggled and a rather unusual shape (what's new) he is feeling a lot better and should be out in a couple of weeks.

Get well soon Jof... you little turd!

    Went right past that hospital yesterday. Had no idea frobush was in there of course!

    Sorry to hear of this, but get well soon. :)

    Blimey! I was beginning to wonder where he'd gotten to.....

    Tell him to Get Well Soon from all of us here....and to take some photos of his hospital food for posterity! Oh, and the Youtube thread is far too quiet in his absence... :)

    so what happened to him? it's unlikely that something accidentally entered him and then was switched on?

    Thanks for giving us the nod Mr Hat. Oh my :( that can't be good. Poor old Joff, not had the best of luck of late aye. :(

    I know he said he was ill recently, but I thought it was a flu type bug. This is shocking. What was the problem Mr Hat?

    Oh no, that's horrid news. But yes, very pleased to hear he's getting better... hope he makes a very speedy recovery.

    I noticed he'd gone AWOL a while ago, but then he popped up again so I guessed he'd been off doing some crazy film related tomfoolery?

    Yes, he sent me a message on the 12th of April, saying nice things about Graz, he has told me about not being well a few times, I gathered that it may be worse than he either knew or was letting on. I wish I was near enough to visit, but it is even hard for me to find time for shopping.

    It must have been very bad for him to need intensive care, lets just hope he comes through it fast and has access to the internet, so he can see that people worry about him.

    Well fingers crossed and yes you have been missed over the last two weeks !
