Countries of software release - what's the rule?
WOS database says that there are many games from countries like Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia. All these countries appeared after the breakup of Yugoslavia.
But most of these games were created before 1990, when these countries didn't exist.
In the same way, we have games created before 1990, which WOS claims to be created in Czech Republic or Slovakia. But, to be precise, they were created in Czechoslovakia.
And the games from the 80ties were created in Soviet Union, not Russia.
I wonder what is the rule which WOS uses? Should we:
1) Use the current political map to determine the country of game origin
or
2) Use the original, historical countries
If we choose option 1, then the database is okay, if we choose 2, then it requires changes.
