Bubbler

edited June 2010 in Wanted
I've got all the others, in fact I've got 2 or more of all the other UK Ultimate releases. I just need a bubbler now. Anyone got one they want to trade or maybe sell.
I'd prefer a trade.
If someone has a spare maybe, and is missing some of the others.

I've got lots of stuff I'm willing to trade.

PM or reply to this thread if you can help. Thanks for looking :)

I haven't got a Bubbler but I sure would like Martianoids & Pentagram if you have spares...have quite a few hard to find titles I could swap for them...what are you after?

I've got a pentagram I'd swap, not sure what I'd want in return yet, would have to get back to you on that after I've done a bit more sorting out, in a few days.

I'd swap them both for a bubbler :) for that reason, I'd like to hang on to my only spare of martianoids. I'll let you know if I get bubbler without having to part with martianoids.

    Ah, Bubbler...

I remember I got my copy in an ebay auction along with Cobra and 2 other large case games for 99p.

Those were the days, before competition and high prices! I remember...Gilby6, ADJB, degsy99, mufik5 and cornishdavey were the only others...

Then I sold the entire collection...

    pigdog is a muppet. Discuss.

now I'm accumulating a few titles again after a year or 3 out of the scene, i'm shocked at how much even the common titles go for...Still, I guess its good for the scene that there is still interest..

A link to my photos of spares for trade

The last box is C64 games, the rest is for spectrum.
I have got some other sinclair stuff, hardware etc.., need to do some sorting first.

You ought to bring a van over to the mainland for a day and we could do some swaps, I have about the same amount as you, perhaps even double. I think the only real option is swapping. The thing is that in reality if you try to unload your spares through E-Bay, it will not only take a lifetime, you will only make pennies. It would be better to sell them in 100`s and set a sensible minimum price, but many people try to sell them as single tapes, life is too short for that kind of thing, unless the individual game is in any way special.

Whoa, whenever I see such a big collection of repeated games (even bigger than my modest collection), I can't help but wonder how big your main collection is.

Swapping is definately better than selling on ebay then buying, thus making ebay/paypal richer, and making games more expensive in the process. Swapping is a win/win situation. Ebaying is a bit of a win/lose. They had nearly ?100 of me in fees, probably more if I worked out the paypal fees too, that's just the last month.

If I sell something for ?50, then buy something for ?50, them 2 transactions alone cost me ?7ish and the other seller the same. ?14 thrown away. :x

I'd love to come and do some swapsies, although I don't have a van, and my stupid car won't get on the ferry. Maybe one day, as I am planning on getting a bigger vehicle, as I got 4 kids, and we don't all fit in a car.

I'm sure there are bigger collections than mine :)

Not many really, I seem to have more view to a kill's by Domark, for some reason. Can only see 3 scrabbles, I off load them now and then with joblots on ebay.
