Just applied for a new job, IT tech with a college. its pretty basic by the sound of it, thats why i think with my experience, skill , knowledge and qualifications (which are just a bit above basic i think) i should have a decent choice

it'll be far less stress
something fun, i enjoy and want to do
and ill get paid about 4 grand off double my current wage (from 11 grand to 18 and half grand)

We are a long established Sixth Form College with an excellent reputation, outstanding facilities and a real commitment to helping you, the individual, to identify and achieve your goals.

As a sixth form college we specialise in full time courses for 16 ? 19 year olds providing a very wide range of Advanced level and Intermediate courses which can usually be taken in any combination.

We also offer an extensive range of adult education and leisure courses.

there is politics where ever you work.. i know a number of teachers (friends wives etc..) and they get it a lot.. it's academia and well it's a different type of hassle.. not commission or stealing it off work mates.. but other hassle

a friend used to be head admin at our old uni.. students are a nightmare..

but hopefully you'll get it.. but even then people advertise jobs "outside" but it's an insider who gets em.

Hey, I work for myself, but still have tons of hassle from the support agencies, you won`t ever get away from crap and power trippers, no matter what, it is just a case of trying to find the humour in it I suppose !
