Football Director ZXDS save help

I'm playing football director on ZXDS. At the end of the season the the game crashes after the auto save. How do i stop the game crashing so i can carry on playing?

    It's supposed to crash at end of season (see the instructions, Playing Tips section, item 6; also, the Notes On Emulator Game Save/Load section might help). Basically, the game has to be re-loaded at the end of each season and program/data tapes have to be switched mid-load to continue playing, which can be tricky with virtual TAP/TZX files on some emulators. If the ZXDS emulator doesn't support TAP/TZX then you could be well stuck.

    Positioning TAP/TZX shouldn't be an issue with ZXDS, however the lack of saving to tape files certainly is.
