Winged Avenger - Workforce

In the archive we have two versions of Winged Avenger.

I have just found a tape who's cover clearly pre-dates either of those in the archive (a much more amateur effort with the control keys and game bullshit printed on it) in the same way as, for example, the early Richard Shepard games.

Question - On what basis is the Winged Avenger Mk 1 game considered as the first release?.

    I preserved one of these several moons ago, and it was rejected on the basis that it was the same as the one on the site! :-o

    therefore considered as an inlay variation. The early titles from Workforce were often released with the basic paper inlays and later issues with more polished inlays.

    I had this version too.

    That's good enough for me, straight into the collection then and just the inlay to upload.
