FireFall

FireFall

All I can say is ... *drool*

The first vid I saw of this game it looked like a run-of-the-mill FPS but this seems to implement a lot more RPG into it.

But I'm old and my eyes are decrepit so I wouldn't know what to shoot at, it all just kind of blends together into a cacophony of colours and shapes ... all I can say is that the landscape is gorgeous and I wouldn't mind just roaming about.

This looks very nice, especially as it is going at a fast pace. A bit like the way I wish Sega had evolved the Phantasy Star Online series (which had a more action-based gameplay in its various instalments along with a MMO setting, rather than the run-off-the-mill point-and-click gameplay), but they preferred to bore us with the lacklustre Phantasy Star Universe ...

I'd love a game like Firefall but with different classes, including Melee and Magic/Techniques or whatever. Hellgate:London seemed to be such a game but it died quickly thanks to a lot of bugs and short-lived online gameplay.

Driller meets evolva? Looks quite nice, but the characters are a bit cartoony and cell-shaded. Needs a dose of realism.

But yep, I certainly agree that the landscape is cool!

Looks really nice, but I wouldn't expect anything new tbh

Looks being the operative thing though I do like the way there's obviously a war going on, and throughout the dropship scene you can see small scale battles and the like going on below you, but I'll say the gameplay looks as generic and uninteresting as any other modern shooter.....oh well

Oh and talking of generic, the aliens! Come on we've seen it all before, they look shit!
    Every night is curry night!
