Run for Gold
Tried this for the first time in years and was impressed with how well it still looked.

Now I've never been one for cheating, honest;), but having never been much good at the game I tried the pokes from the tipshop

None of which seemed to work at all. Are the pokes wrong? If so any ideas on infinite energy?

41097,0 energy;
29866,60:37278,60 extra energy
Just try the lower lline (you 'need' to do them both) to see if that helps.

It's probably worth taking 5 minutes to try all four* versions listed there, hopefully ( ! ) the pokes will work with one of them at least. :)
*Well, there's three versions really I guess as one is a duplicate tzx vs tap.
Will need someone with a higher skill level to take it apart to see what's going on really.
I could have a go but I would say its only about 10% chance I'd be able to do it (as I'd just be looking for something being decreased and a check for zero)
The only way to win the 400m gold and get a world record was to run deliberately slow so that the other runners would not blitz the 43.90 time (which they would if you tried too hard.)
Anybody manage to run a fast time at the 400m?
Only dip below 45 seconds every now and again, doesn't seem to matter which tactics I try to use. How do you run the longer distances? I'm even worse at them!
you can get very quick times at the long distances by just accelerating to maximum speed and staying there. Your energy will collapse, but don't worry. just plod along till your energy gets up to about 90% again, by which time the pack will have caught you, then accelerate to maximum speed again!
You do this once for the 800m, (crossing the line just as your energy is falling again); maybe 4 times for the 1500m.
As the game progresses, your energy falls slower and recovers quicker, so your times get better and better.
With this technique, you'll break the world records after your first one or two races, in the Olympic finals, taking 5 or 6 seconds off them.
400m is a different kettle of fish, pretty easy to manage about 43.90 (don't accelerate till the last 150m); but the other racers (T Kaye, S Katana) manage 43.6ish, and are just unstoppable!
No matter what tactics I use 43.90 seems to be a barrier.
