I remember 'SUPERCOM' by Atlantis software...

It was a strange game, text only, and written in BASIC, but was surprisingly good.

I think CRASH magazine gave it two ratings, as the reviewers couldn't decide if it was great or crap! :)

I remember Hacker and Hacker II - I think those were hacking games ;)

Another one called "System 1500" I think?

hacker and hacker 2 we're really hacking games at all.

thanks for the info guys, those were the 2 games i remember from magazine covers.

anyone interested in these should check out a new-ish game for PC called Uplink.

Uplink is great, but i would love to see a game in the style of supercom and its sequal satcom, they were great fun, although you had to have the instructions just for the first phone number.

Did you mean, were hacking games, or were not hacking games?

I liked Hacker - at least the early stages - i got abit bogged down towards the end, specially with the satellites flying overhead. However, and this is true, and my tiny, tiny, claim to fame. I figured out the password AUSTRALIA (just like I figured out SHY GYPSY SLYLY SPRYLY TRYSY BY MY CRYPT on 7th guest) almost straight off, more by luck than anything, but it was mnoths before it appeared in print in a magazine.
