I'm sure there was an apple machine on ebay before mentioned here.. errm wooden casing + letter from jobs , that was made in the garage

Not me.

It's just typically overpriced Apple kit. You could probably get an Altair 8800 with monitor and disk drives for the kind of money they're wanting for a bare board.

as a kid , there used to be micro shows on.. they showed clones.. including when they went.. errm Philippines or somewhere in asia.. a apple 2 clone... called the pineapple
for a very small time in the , and I think another place apple tested the licensing thing .. computer warehouse used to do one or more. (the nashville )
