Does anyone know if energy and morale affect the result?

yep probably, they are variables in it probably and to progress you also need to grow a beard like mr toms

I'm guessing it's a variable / sub-routine in the game that gets altered as part of the formula for the end result
  • I like the idea of an eyetoy or kinect version that detects how beardy you are!

but these days he don't support a beard, a cunning disguise if ever their was one :)

a "friend" made football manager 3 on c64, I get a greet in the intro for it.. but well the story behind it was even funnier. He was working for system 3 on fuzzball and he'd signed a contract to do FM3 (thats partly why fuzzball never got finished) .. so he had to leave sys3 or get sued for breach of contract by prism.

I can assure you that they are used, as is the skill level. I've probably spent more time hacking in Kevin Toms' code than he did originally, having tried in the late 90's to try to squeeze FM through hisoft basic. I think I managed it in the end, which was quite the challenge.

I recently started hacking to see if I could get it to work using Boriel's ZX basic, but I'm bad at finishing projects, so it's still part hacked. I keep getting distracted by chasing down "we need this" stuff for the compiler, and of course the odd bug.

Try adapting it for Dunny's SpecBas.
