Fantasy League

probably not the best place to ask... but I don't really no anyone else in England so here it goes!

after years of having my friends teasing me on how much more they knew about Football & english premiere than me, I finaly accepted to be on the premiere league Fantasy League.

so far I'm dong pretty ok, being N?2 & 5th on two of my friends leagues (I could be much better, but it took me 3 weeks to really undestand the game... and I lost tons of points there...).

so here is my question, I'm having some injuries on my miedfield, and I was thinking on swapping a player for Arsenals Nasri

but I've notices Chris Brunt has good points, is much cheaper and has been doing a nice season...(I prefer having some money stached in case I need to make some last chance swap) can anyone tell me if he's a regular on his team? or did he just do a few nice games?

right now I'm really going for players who are steady regulars, I value that more than a guy who just pops from time to time to do a nice match...

Brunt's a first-name-on-the-team sheet for us (West Brom). A good player, with some skill, and a fearsome shot on a cracking left peg. I agree with Lawro on Football Focus, if he had some pace he would be an excellent (rather than very decent) player and playing in one of the top teams in the country.

I would keep him in your team. He'll be a steady points earner as he creates a lot and chips in with a fair few goals.

ah yes fantasy football, i dont know about those players but i can give you a tip which has worked for me. I was in your position, my friends always going on about how football savvy they are ect ect so i challenged them to fantasy football. My plan was to ignore defence, have a good goal keeper and then just spend all my money on strike and the rest on mid and HEY it worked :) Im top at the moment, but i guess i kinda got lucky with berbatov scoring 5 and drogba scoring alot early on, gone downhill a bit but still leading the league :)

here is my team so far:

    GK: Joe Hart

DF: Ashley Cole, Robert Huth, Vidic

MF: Bale, Charlie Adam, Nani (C), Etherington

    CF: Anelka, Elmander, Carroll

Subs: Kirkland (will swap him for Howard as soon as I can), Warnock, Nolan (will swap him for Brunt and make him 1st team), Williamson

the team has suffered lots of changes since I begin, only Nani, Anelka, Kirkland and Warnok kept from my first week, and I've been lucky cause I wasn't expecting Nani to have such a good season!
