pc hardware reviews?

edited December 2010 in Chit chat
Does anybody know a good site that reviews Pc hardware. I'm after a 1tb external HDD they seem to be quite cheap now but i don't know which one is best. It will mostly be used for storing family pictures so i dont want to scrimp and buy an unreliable one but i do love me a bargain.

Well that's a lot of photos! Why not get two hard disks at 400 gigs or something so that you can back it up twice?

Also, regarding hardware reviews, where's the best place to find out if something works well with linux/open source software?

Thanks for the suggestion guys. Maybe two smaller drives would be a good idea.
