3D Lunattack

Any fans of Lunattack?

I played this a lot back then, and thought the 3D was amazing. Been playing it again and stuck it on my site. There's something still quite good about it.

Thoughts?

one of the first games I had; I always expected to get somewhere, but it just went on and on.

At the time, was impressed by the "speech" too (just kept playing the tape! - in my youthful naivete I thought it was amazing!)

I thought the graphics were very nice for the time. Although obviously done with sprites, it's almost got the look of a vector graphics game and the impression of depth and movement is excellent.

Sadly though, it's just too short and simple to play. So long as you can keep going in the right direction and don't crash into any mountains, it's all over in a couple of minutes. You don't really need to shoot at anything save the enemy base right at the end and a lot of features, like the four different areas and the enemies that occasionally swoop down from orbit seem underused.

Still, at least we got Avalon later the same year.

This is one I can't remember having ever played before.....seems pretty cool from the first wee go I've just had!
